Dust & Grooves: Adventures in Record Collecting

Updated: Nov 6, 2022

I'm in the process of moving again. I'm staying in San Marcos, but relocating to a nicer apartment. I officially get the keys on October 28th.

After the cats I had in Austin used a large section of my record collection as a scratching post, I lost interest in adding to it. I recently purged a good percentage of albums I no longer listen to and those that weren't visually appealing any longer. The effort yielded a 2k credit at a local record store.

That being said, my interest in record collecting is alive and well once again. I just picked up a new coffee table book on the topic for my next's called Dust & Grooves: Adventures In Record Collecting. The book gets up close and personal with some of the more well known collectors on the planet. I also ordered a poster and postcard collection from their website too, because my walls will need something on them to look at while the sounds of my new records enter my ears.
